| CIRCUITO STRADALE NON PIÙ IN USO - STREET CIRCUIT NO LONGER OPERATIONAL | |||
| Sull'onda del successo del primo circuito Verona - Brescia - Mantova - Verona, i Bresciani decidono di organizzare pochi mesi dopo, nel settembre 1899, le "Feste Automobilistiche". Il programma prevedeva la corsa Brescia - Cremona - Mantova - Verona - Brescia, che riprendeva ed ampliava il circuito usato nella gara Veronese. Il programma prevedeva anche il "Criterium delle motociclette" (ma non so su che tracciato) e la "Corsa Brescia", disputatasi sulla circonvallazione (non so se con un giro completo della città, come evidenziato in mappa, o se solo su una parte) Nel 1900 è stato organizzato il "Convegno automobilistico" che prevedeva una gara di velocità su un rettilineo di 5 km (forse da Brescia in direzione Montichiari, ma non ho conferme in proposito) e la corsa sullo stesso percorso Brescia - Cremona - Mantova - Verona - Brescia dell'anno precedente. After great success of the first circuit Verona - Brescia - Mantova - Verona, Brescians decidd to organize just after some months, in September 1899, their "Feste Automobilistiche" ("Car feasts"). Program was composed by a race on the circuit Brescia - Cremona - Mantova - Verona - Brescia (that used a large section of the previous one), "Criterium delle motociclette" (a motorbike race, I don't know what circuit they used) and "Corsa Brescia" ("Brescia race") on streets around the town. I don't know if the circuit was a complete tour of the town (as shown in the map) or if they use only a section. In 1900 they organized a "Convegno automobilistico" ("Car congress"): it included a speed race on a straight 5 km long (maybe from Brescia to Montichiari, but I have no info about) and a race on the same circuit Brescia - Cremona - Mantova - Verona - Brescia used the previous year. In green on the map (dated 1927), there are all other circuit used in this area (see their own page) | ||
